Still have money left over from payday? Don’t rush out to blow it just yet. Amazon is holding another huge Prime Day sale next week, and there will be big discounts on the latest technology that you won’t want to miss!
Here are the details you need to know.
Prime Day 2017 officially kicks off on July 11, but you’ll find the first deals appearing from 9 p.m. PST on Monday, July 10. The sale will run for 30 hours, and new products will be added every hour. Like last year, we’re expecting generous discounts on thousands of items.
Some of them you’ll be interested in, some you won’t. But this year, Amazon is making it easier to find the best deals for you by breaking them up into categories. So if you need a new laptop, you won’t have to wade through deals on lawnmowers and tealight candles to find one.
As always, you’ll need a Prime membership to enjoy the sale, but you can sign up to a 30-day free trial if you haven’t already had one. Students with a .edu email address can enjoy the service for six months before having to hand over a penny.
We’ll have to wait until the sale starts to find out what kind of deals Amazon has in store for us, but we’re hoping the retail giant will be looking to make this year’s promotion even bigger than last years, which was the biggest day in its history.
There is one discount we know about: Amazon will be offering 30 percent off a 43-inch Ultra HD LG Smart TV.
Amazon is also offering some exclusive deals fore Alexa voice shoppers, including $50 off the Bose Soundlink Bluetooth Speaker III, $20 off the Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus, and $7 off the Wemo Mini smart plug — all of which can be controlled with Alexa commands.
What’s more, these deals are available today through July 17.
When the actual Prime Day sale kicks off, Cult of Mac will be running a live-blog that will include all the best deals on great tech and accessories. Be sure to keep an eye on it so you don’t miss a thing.
